Welp. Sales must be down, time to diversify another character.

To be honest, I don’t really care. The only reason I even know about Power Girl is the same reason 95% of the people know about her (it ain’t the writing).

I never got into comics, mostly because the more I read about them and their incoherent, soap opera, SJ pandering, the less I wanted anything to do with them. This gives me even less interest, since it’s clear that at any point, they won’t just hit the reboot button when they fuck up a character too much, they’ll just flat out switch ‘em with someone brand new. This the the kind of shit producers only did when they were really desperate (Matt Damon doesn’t want to do another Bourne movie, get someone else to be Kinda-Bourne).

I can’t even complain about the fact that instead of creating brand new characters who are diversified, they just give whatever property is washed up to them. Sort of a sloppy seconds type bit. That complaining has been done to death and really, who gives a shit at this point?

I don’t care how well Comic Movies are doing, Superhero comic books are and will always be disposable trash. Instead of being fantasies for immature boys, they’ve become wank material for an altogether different type of man-child. If anything, I’m glad the SJW squad has set their sights so intently on this part of the medium since it means nothing of any real value will be lost.
