"Tell the chef, the beer is on me."
Even releasing two issues in one month, Ms. Marvel drops 800 readers. It launched with 50,000 readers. That’s pretty resilient, to only lose 42% of its readers in 12 issues. Maybe the SJWs are too intimidated by the white men running the comic book shop to call and cancel their order.
And conveniently at that exact spot on the chart you can see that “New 52 Futures End” had the same sales for two issues in one month regardless of the fact that it’s been running for 30 more issues than Ms. Marvel and has a fucking stupid title. I don’t even know what characters are in that book.
Apparently it’s the Batman Beyond universe. That was a good show. But if Batman Beyond has the same numbers as Ms. Marvel after 30 more issues… that says that Ms. Marvel, a new character, doesn’t interest comics readers as much as a character from a 15 year old cartoon.
And guess what, Saga has 56,000 readers after 25 issues. Number of readers for Saga #1? 37,500. There’s no “Ms. Marvel” existing character name there either. It’s an original story. And most of the characters are women. Somehow with all those factors it has still gained 18,500 regular readers.
The SJWs are very vocal about their “sales victories” but if you look at the numbers it’s clear that all books pandering to SJWs are losing readers while good Image books are gaining readers.
According to a calculator, 29,054 x 3 = 87,162.
So issue 12 of Ms. Marvel made $87,162.
That’s not even 6 figures.
I don’t know how much a comic store gets per sale, but let’s say it’s $1 just to assume shit. So then it’s $2 per issue. Marvel probably takes half from that, though it could be more, I’m still just assuming.
Which leaves $29,054 (fortunately I still remember what a number x 1 is).
Then you have to split that several ways between the artist, colorist, writer, letterer, and who the fuck knows who else.
No one’s going to get rich off of this. Although I do have to say, even $2,000 a month would be a nice paycheck for writing a comic.
Imagine having the sales that manga has though. That wouldn’t be any 5 figure profit.
But to do that, you’d have to take a risk offending someone. So that’s not going to happen.

"Basically the price of a night on the town!"
"I'd love to help kickstart continued development! And 0 EUR/month really does make fiscal sense too... maybe I'll even get a shirt?" (there will be limited edition shirts for two and other goodies for each supporter as soon as we sold the 200)
